This is just lovely. It is hard to get good moss covered trees pictures. Sometimes the pictures look too busy. Where is Wiskeytown Forest? is it a park?

Whiskey is in Shasta County, California. There's some very cool history to this area. Whiskeytown was named a National Park by JFK before he was shot. This is where goldminers panned for gold many years ago and still you can find many, many little flakes of all throughout the creeks and surrounding lakes. When you enter the park at the visitors center, you can see nothing but lake. But what's so special about that lake is that there is still the first city under all the water. They left the city there and just filled it up. It's cool history. I live only 6 miles from here.

Ahem. Actually, I think I prefer the shot as it is. Great scenery and lighting - Does have rather a "Fantasy" feel to it.
